System and implement-carrying expertise

Maximum possibilities

The Unimog U 300/U 400/U 500 was designed, first and foremost, as a professional implement carrier and that means it’s ideal for a multitude of almost unlimited applications. With its three attachment points and an additional area for mounting bodies, the Mercedes-Benz Unimog has proved to be a unique and highly versatile platform for combinations of implements and attachments. The result: the Unimog is the ideal, total working package – adapted, right down to the last detail to suit your specific requirements.

Frame design

The basis for the Unimog's versatile all-year-round operation is its continuous straight ladder frame. Not only does it provide maximum stability due to its high degree of rigidity and torsional resistance, but thanks to its integrated attachment points and predetermined hole patterns, mounting implements is made easy. This provides additional safety even when high demands are made.

Defined attachment points

All attachment and body mounting areas are compatible with your existing implements.

3 attachment areas

On the standardised front mounting plate, between the axles and at the rear. Suitable for a great variety of implements.

One mounting area, three options

With or without platform – the body mounting area with three options is extremely versatile. Firstly, existing implements can be installed on the platform body; secondly, new implements can be mounted directly onto the sub-frame's ball-type fastening points; and, thirdly: permanent superstructures or seasonally demountable implements can be fitted directly onto the straight frame longitudinal members.
